Pre-Shoot Brief &
Script Approval
This brief covers nine pieces of content — eight solo videos and one realtor collaboration — all designed to be captured in a single shoot day. Every video maps directly to the content strategy and 30-day launch calendar. Review each script, adjust any wording that doesn't feel natural, and confirm the shoot date. Lazrow handles everything from there.
The realtor collab requires one guest realtor — confirmed in advance — present for approximately 30 minutes during the shoot. Before/after transformation content is captured on an ongoing basis at actual jobs after launch. That's the engine that keeps the calendar fueled month after month.
These value props came directly from Mary and are woven throughout the scripts below. Every script and caption has been updated to reflect them.
Mary builds a genuine relationship with every client. The work is personal, not transactional — and that trust is what gets people through the front door.
Most organizers rearrange what's already there. Mary physically removes items from the home — donated, delivered, and handled completely.
No obligation, no pressure. Mary comes to the home, assesses the situation, and builds a plan together — before any commitment is made.
Each video below is expandable. Click any title to open the full script, shoot direction, cover image guidance, and caption copy. Videos 1–5 are the foundation. Videos 6–8 complete the pillar coverage. Video 9 is the realtor collaboration — the highest-leverage piece in the package. All nine are designed for one shoot day.
Video 1 — Introduction Reel ▼
"Hi, I'm Mary, and I run Declutter My Home here in Richmond.
I've been doing this for years, and what I've learned is that decluttering isn't really about stuff — it's about the weight people carry when they don't know where to start, or when they feel judged for how things got this way.
Here's what makes us different: I don't just come in and reorganize what's already there. I actually remove things from your home. Donated, delivered, and completely handled — so when we're done, it's really done.
My approach is judgment-free from the first conversation. In fact, we always start with a free in-home consultation — no obligation, just a chance to walk through the space together and figure out what you actually need.
If you're in Richmond or the surrounding counties and you're ready to reclaim your space — that first call is on me."
Shoot in a recently completed, organized space — the environment tells the story before Mary says a word. Natural light preferred. Warm and direct tone, not polished or stiff. This is the first video people see when they land on the profile; it should feel like meeting Mary in person. Capture 2–3 takes and a few B-roll seconds of Mary moving through the space.
Mary direct to lens, warm and confident — not posed, not stiff. Clean organized room visible behind her. Bold white text in the lower third: NICE TO MEET YOU. Large enough to read at grid thumbnail size.

Video 2 — FAQ: "What happens to my things?" ▼
"Here's something most people don't realize about Declutter My Home — I'm not an organizer. Organizers come in, sort through your things, and find a better place for everything that's already there.
I actually take things out of your home. That's the difference.
We sort together, you decide what goes, and anything being donated goes somewhere specific — Diversity Thrift, Start 1 Spark for children's items, Tech for Troops for electronics. Real organizations right here in Richmond.
When we're done, your home isn't just tidier. It's lighter. And that's a feeling most of my clients say they didn't expect.
Start with a free in-home consultation — link in bio."
Two options: (1) Mary on-camera in a home setting speaking to lens, or (2) Mary speaking while standing near a vehicle loaded with donation bags. Option 2 is stronger if we can coordinate a real donation run on or near shoot day. Confirm which is feasible before we arrive.
Mary's vehicle — trunk open, packed with donation bags and boxes, ready for drop-off. Shoot from slightly behind and to the side so the full load is visible. Natural outdoor light. Bold text overlay: MOST ORGANIZERS REARRANGE. I REMOVE.

Video 3 — Realtor-Targeted Content ▼
"If you're a listing agent in Richmond and you've ever had a client whose home wasn't quite ready for the stager — this is the call you should have made first.
Declutter My Home works directly with realtors to get homes cleared, sorted, and organized before photography, before staging, before any of it.
We work around your listing timeline, we take the conversation about belongings completely off your plate, and we leave the home in a condition that shows dramatically better than it walked in.
Your clients are less stressed, the home photographs cleaner, and you close with less friction. If that sounds useful — send me a DM and let's connect."
Mary's tone should shift slightly here — still warm but more peer-to-peer. She's speaking to a professional, not a hesitant homeowner. Clean, organized background reinforces the message. Add a contact CTA graphic overlay at the end. Tag realtor partners when posting.
A before shot of a room that's clearly not ready — cluttered counters, boxes, furniture too close together — shot professionally and well-lit. Bold white text centered: BEFORE THE STAGER. Realtors stop on this because they recognize the problem instantly.

Video 4 — Mary's Philosophy / The Why ▼
"I started Declutter My Home because I kept seeing the same thing — people who needed help but were too embarrassed to ask for it. They'd apologize for their space before I even walked in the door.
What I've realized over the years is that this work isn't really about stuff. It's about the emotional weight that comes with it. The memories attached to things. The guilt about what to keep and what to let go. The fear of being judged.
That's what I actually help people through. The physical removal of items is the easy part. The trust it takes to let someone into your home and your process — that's what I take seriously.
Every client I work with, I'm with them through that. Not just in and out with boxes.
If that's what you've been looking for — the first conversation is free. Come as you are."
This is the most personal piece on shoot day. If Mary wants to deliver this more conversationally and off-script after reading it a few times, that's the right call — emotional honesty matters more than exact wording. Capture 3 takes and use the most natural one. Unhurried pace. This video will convert followers into clients more than any other piece we make.
Mary in a candid, slightly off-camera moment — looking down, caught mid-thought, or laughing naturally. Not posed. Text overlay understated: THE REAL REASON I DO THIS. The candid quality creates visual contrast on the grid — it should feel like the one personal card in a professional deck.

Video 5 — Services Overview ▼
"People think of Declutter My Home as a decluttering service — and we are — but here's what we actually cover:
Quick room resets when you need one space cleared fast. Full home organization for a complete fresh start. Home sale prep for clients who are listing and need to move quickly. Estate transitions when a family is managing a loved one's belongings. And move-in or move-out services to start the next chapter right.
And unlike a traditional organizer — I don't just rearrange what's already there. I physically remove items from your home. Donated, delivered, handled completely.
Every single service starts the same way — a free in-home consultation. We walk through the space together, I understand what you're dealing with, and we build a plan before you commit to anything.
We serve Richmond and eight surrounding counties. Link in bio to book your free consultation."
Slightly more upbeat and informational than the other videos. Mary can walk slowly through a room as she speaks or stay stationary — either works. Add text overlays during edit that list each service as she names it. Keep delivery clear and unhurried — don't rush through the list.
A clean split frame — two contrasting spaces side by side. Left: a packed, cluttered garage. Right: the same type of space organized and clear. Bold text centered across the join: WE HANDLE ALL OF IT.

Video 6 — The Free Consultation Walkthrough ▼
"A lot of people don't book because they don't know what they're signing up for. So let me show you exactly what the free consultation looks like.
I come to your home — no charge, no commitment. We walk through the spaces together. You tell me what's bothering you most, what feels overwhelming, what you've been avoiding.
I ask questions. I listen. I don't take notes on a clipboard and hand you a quote at the end. I'm trying to understand your situation so I can tell you honestly whether I can help and what that would look like.
Some people book on the spot. Some people need a week to think. Either is completely fine.
The consultation is free because I believe the right decision comes from a real conversation — not a sales pitch. Link in bio to schedule yours."
Start with Mary at the front door or just inside the entrance — as if she's arriving for a real consultation. Walk slowly into the main space as she speaks, glancing around naturally. She should feel like she's genuinely assessing the room. This video demystifies the process and removes the last barrier to booking.
Mary standing in a doorway, hand on the frame, looking into a room — shot from behind or at an angle so you see both her and the space she's entering. Warm natural light from inside. Bold text overlay: YOUR FIRST VISIT IS FREE.

Video 7 — The Emotional Client Story ▼
"I had a client a while back — older woman, lifelong Richmond resident, had lived in her home for over 40 years. Her kids lived out of state and she was getting ready to downsize.
Every item we touched had a story. A chair from her mother. A collection her late husband started. Boxes she hadn't opened since her children were small.
We didn't rush through it. We couldn't. That's not how this work goes when you do it right.
By the time we were done, the house was lighter. But what I remember most is what she said at the end: 'I didn't think I'd feel relieved. I thought I'd just feel empty.'
That's the part of this job nobody talks about. The physical removal of items is the easy part. What I'm really here for is everything else."
Give this the most time and the most takes. Mary should be seated or leaning against a wall — grounded, not moving. This story should feel like she's telling it to a friend, not delivering it to a camera. If she gets emotional during a take, that's the take. Do not coach her out of it. The authenticity of this video will outperform every other piece of content on the account over time.
Mary looking slightly off-camera — not at the lens. Thoughtful expression, reflective not sad. Minimal text overlay, small and understated: THE PART NOBODY TALKS ABOUT. This is the one video where less visual noise creates more emotional pull. Let the image breathe.

Video 8 — Richmond Home Seller Tip ▼
"Realtors and stagers do incredible work — but there's something that has to happen first, and most sellers skip it entirely.
Before any stager touches your home, you need to remove the things that shouldn't be there at all. Not rearrange them. Remove them.
The three spaces Richmond sellers almost always overlook: the garage, because buyers open that door and make a decision in four seconds. Kitchen countertops, because clutter there makes the whole home feel smaller in photos. And closets — because buyers open every single one.
A stager can make a cleared home look exceptional. No stager can overcome a home that's still full.
We specialize in exactly this — fast, thorough removal before your listing photography date. Free consultation to get started. Link in bio."
Mary can deliver this on-camera with authority, or walk through the specific spaces she mentions as she names them — garage, kitchen countertops, closet — pointing at each. The walking version is more dynamic. Tone here is confident and expert — she's a trusted advisor talking to a homeowner who needs real, actionable guidance.
Mary standing in a cluttered garage or in front of overfilled kitchen counters — arms slightly crossed, composed and knowing. The visual mismatch between the clutter behind her and her calm confidence is the message. Bold text overlay: DO THIS BEFORE THE STAGER.

Video 9 — Realtor Collaboration ★ Highest Priority ▼
Do not script the realtor. Give them the three talking points below and let the conversation run naturally. Scripted testimonials feel like ads. Unscripted conversation feels like trust. Lazrow asks the questions off-camera — they get edited out. What remains is the realtor talking about the relationship in their own words with Mary present and occasionally responding.
Point 1 — The problem they used to have: Sellers who aren't ready. Homes that still feel full when the stager arrives. Listing photography that doesn't do the property justice.
Point 2 — How the relationship with Mary started: A specific listing, a referral, or a client recommendation. The more specific and personal, the better.
Point 3 — What changed: How homes show differently after Mary's been through them. What it means for photography, for staging, and for the seller's stress level.
"Can you describe a listing situation where having Mary involved made a visible difference to you?"
"What would you tell another Richmond realtor who hasn't worked with Mary yet?"
"What's the one thing sellers are always surprised by when Mary's done?"
Ask one question at a time. Let the answer breathe fully before moving to the next. The best content comes from the pauses after they think they're finished.
Mary listens, nods, and responds naturally — she does not deliver prepared lines. A natural laugh, a "that's exactly right," a brief addition to what the realtor said. This should feel like two professionals who have worked together talking about the work — not two people performing for a camera.
Seat or stand them at a slight angle to each other — both partially facing camera, but able to make natural eye contact with each other. A kitchen counter, living room seating area, or dining table all work. Natural light from a window on the side. Shoot the full unedited conversation (~5–8 minutes raw) and cut down to 45–60 seconds in post.
Shoot a brief individual tag at the end — realtor facing camera alone: "I'm [Name] with [Brokerage]. If you're listing in Richmond, this is the call to make first." This becomes a standalone shareable clip for the realtor's own feed.
Mary and the realtor side by side — both looking at camera, relaxed and confident. Not posed like a headshot. Bold white text across the bottom using the realtor's exact words: "I CALL MARY BEFORE I CALL THE STAGER." On the grid this is the only video with two people in the frame, which makes it stand out immediately.

This video runs on both accounts simultaneously. Every realtor follower on the guest realtor's feed sees Mary's name. Every homeowner follower on Mary's feed sees a realtor endorsing the service. The combined reach of one 30-minute shoot investment cannot be replicated by paid advertising at this price point. This becomes the template for a recurring series — a different Richmond realtor featured every 4–6 weeks through the year.
What You Need to Have Ready
These are the things Lazrow needs from you before and on shoot day. Most items are quick. A few require lead time — start those now.
